It's Sunday (the 6th) around 12p and I have gotten all of my photos and videos labeled and ready for uploading to the interwebs, so thought this would be a good time to get caught-up again.
Here's a great video of an adorable boy with cerebral palsy we saw during our 1st day at the Pediatric Hospital in Can Tho. Love to hear him talking...
Here are a few random videos that might help you get a feel of Can Tho...
This video shows you a little bit of Friday afternoon traffic as we were walking back to our hotel from the Children's Hospital. Can Tho is a city of about 80, 000 people...the majority of whom ride motor scooters (aka cyclos) to/from work, home, etc. I will, once we arrive in Saigon, post a video of the difference in the quantity of traffic, but this gives you an initial view. It's a bit like riding in a video game when you are seated on the scooter.
Amy loves drinking the coconut water from baby coconuts and then you can use a spoon to pull-out the 'meat' from the interior of the coconut. We were strolling along and found a vendor and here's him preparing the coconut for Amy. They aren't my favorite, so that leaves more for Amy. :)
As we walk from the Children's Hospital to our hotel, we pass a local school. They have this type of fun equipment for the children to ride, so this is of a little girl on the ride by herself.
xoxo
